The new course at Castro Marim is part of a development of truly exceptional quality, conceived with the goal of providing unique leisure opportunities. Its location is exceptional, in the tranquil Leeward Algarve - the first course in this area of beautiful views over the Atlantic Ocean, the Guadian River and the Nature Reserve. The so-called Atlantic course was designed to take advantage of the natural rolling hills and is dotted with many decorative lakes. The fairways are of Bermuda grass and the greens of the new Penn A4 grass.
What makes Castro Marim Golfe and Country Club so special is the rare marriage, in one place, of such important factors. History, culture, nature, the river, the sea, the beach and sport all combine - and the quality of service is unbeatable.
The course has recently add 9 new holes to provide the three 9 hole loops of The Grouse, The Atlantic and The Guadiana to offer a choice of playing two different eighteen hole combinations.
