· Pinheiros Altos
Bordering the dazzling Nature Park of Ria Formosa, the natural habitat of numerous migratory birds, the Pinheiros Altos course is unusually and highly original, with two sets of nine holes with completely opposing characteristics. The forward nine are over rolling terrain, with sandy subsoil and gentle pines, the shorter back nine runs through gentle hills and abundant lakes.
Since its opening, the course has become a preferred pre-season practice ground for many of today's top professional golfers. They are aware of the large practice ground which includes three putting greens, bunker and chipping areas and several greens. There are also comprehensive tuition programmes for golfers of all levels. Weekly programmes can include private lessons and video analysis of swing problems.
With an extra 9 holes added recently, the course now offers three 9 hole loops, called "The Pines, "The Olives" and "The Cork Oaks".
